What is Healing Touch?

 

Healing Touch is an energy based therapy in which practitioners consciously use their hands in a heart centered and intentional way to enhance, support, and facilitate the physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual health.

 

Healing Touch is holistic approach to health and healing. It uses touch to influence the human energy system. This system involves the energy field surrounding the body and the energy centers within the body. These non-invasive techniques utilize the hands to clear, energize and balance the human energy and environmental energy fields. Thus, physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual health are affected.

 

WHAT TO EXPECT DURING A SESSION?

Tracy will start you off with a aromatic sea salt foot bath to decompress from your daily stress of the day and prepare for deeper relaxation. After a brief consultation you will lay on the massage table fully clothed. During a session, Tracy will gently place her hands on or above the body. The may include light physical touch or sweeping hand motions above the body. There is a high likelihood that you will experience the relaxation response. Some clients feel nothing at all. Others describe sensations of moving energy, deep relaxation, feelings of being supported and nurtured, or visions of colors and images. Some clients experience an emotional release such as tears; some have what they consider a spiritual experience or they may develop insight into specific areas of their lives.
